3rd Ward.

On spring break most kids are going on vacation, or going to friends house, or even just having quite time at the house, but my church and I are going on a mission trip to the ghetto part of  Houston also known as the  3rd ward.  We will be clearing out an old field,  painting an old couples house, and helping with a children’s  organization.  We are going to see what it’s like to not have a T.V or a phone. We’re going to experience so much and get a lot out of the trip. I can’t wait to go! It will help me reconnect with God.  So when I go, I’m going to go for God.

Inner Thoughts

I’m sitting alone Nobody can hear me I wish I could escape My inner thoughts

Will I ever stop thinking Of what others think of me Or what I think of myself?

Will I ever see that love is a beautiful thing Or that things aren’t always as bad As they seem?

Will I ever see The kingdom of God?

Will I ever escape My inner thoughts?

A Difference for God

Every three minutes someone in India is hurt or   killed because they believe in God. I recently was at a D-Now it touched me when I heard this, and well I thought what could I do to help?

A priest in India had a house invitation and was beaten, and was told if he didn’t stop talking about God to others he would be killed, but he didn’t care.

He went back to one of the only churches and kept telling people about God. That day he and many others were in the church and it was boomed and there were NO survivors.

If I could go to India I would tell others about God and change thousands of people’s lives by doing so. I bet if I could go to India I would get hurt, but why should I care?

I would be dieing for God. I would make a difference to others.

Since I’m so young I can’t go to India, so I can start in my school by starting a bible study.

So I make a difference in this world by telling others about God!

We’ll Mis You Girl!

“CRASH” I heard a yelp and I couldn’t believe my ears my favorite dog Bessie

had been hit by a car.

I screamed and my mom turned around quick and told us to go inside and not look. I saw because I was the one who saw it happen. I knew right then that she would die   I   couldn’t say that because of my little sister. My granddaddy came and took her to the vet while we went to Dallas. We were almost there when we got the call I knew what was coming the vet saying they did all they could do and say Bessie didn’t make it.

I was devastated and I thought why her why now.

That night I thought to myself “Who would keep my bed warm at night? Who would lick my face when I was sad? Who would be there when I needed her?”

Then I realized there is a reason for everything and GOD has a plan for us all.

This plan this reason I didn’t understand.

I just have to say we’ll miss you girl!

The Little Trouble Makers!

This weekend my friend and I went to her   Aunt’s house.

When we got there her two year old cousins came running into our arms! They were smiling and laughing (Because we were tickling them so muchJ)!

Then we took them outside to ride the golf cart with us driving though. We got very muddy I mean so muddy that we had to wash off for a whole hour with water hose and we asked her Aunt if we could stay the night and she said sure as long as we helped out with the boys. So we went to get our cloths. When we got back the boys were ready for there baths.

So we undressed them and gave them a bath and when we were about to wash there hair and we turned around and they grabbed my shirt and pulled me in!

My friend started laughing and then I pulled her in. We got out and dried of then we got the boys out. We put them in there pajamas. Then we read them a bedtime story! Once they were asleep we started beading and we stayed up until 3:30 in the morning doing that it was  fun! Then we fell asleep the boy woke up bright and early and came and woke us up to! And before you know it time for us to go the boys cried  when we left. We didn’t want to go but we didn’t have a choice so we said goodbye and leftJ and we played the rest of the day!!

Guadalupe River!

This summer I did something amazing, dangerous and, unforgettable!

My family along with two other families went to New Braunfels to float the Guadalupe River.

When we got there to bed because it was 11:00pm. I  woke up to the smell of Pancakes and Bacon my favoriteJ and I shoved it down my throat and we packed our bags with water some chips and sunscreen. When we arrived at the raft and tube rentals we got two tubes and one two seater raft for my mom and little sister!

We sat in the water and it felt like my legs would fall off it was so cold anyway I was a little sacred so my older sister came and hooked her feet on to my tube now here comes the scary part… we got pulled away from the group and we were about two hours in front of them!! It was ok until the RAPPEDS I was hanging on tight than ever! Then I flipped out of my tube and cut up my back and a complete stranger pulled me out of the water and into my tube I tried not to cry but I couldn’t  help it.

My sister and I finished about an hour before our group so we had to wait and wait! When they got done I was almost asleep and we were hugged by a lot of people cause they were worried about us (I bet you anything they wouldn’t miss my little sisterJ).We got back to the hotel I took a shower and went to bed after my mom rapped my back.

Well now you know my most memorable summer moment!
